Which e-type

Hi,
New to the forum and interested in buying my 1st E-type, I am looking to spend up to £15k. What would you guys recomend as a good car to start with? I was thinking 2+2 4.2.
All comments and advice welcome.

Why a 2+2 ??

1. i have 2 Children
2. cheaper to buy

Go ahead and get a 2+2 I have two kids one with 2 years and one with 7 plus the wife and the baby chair and the push chair and it all fits perfectly and still have an e-type.I have stopped using my MG TD nevertheless.

I AM IMPORTING A US E-TYPE TO CANADA AND REQUIRE THE MONTH OF MANUFACTURE. I ONLY HAVE THE YEAR ON THE TITLE.
THERE IS NOTHING ON THE DRIVERS DOOR.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Checkthe chassis number against any of the major history of E type books in the mechanical changes section or look at the glass codes under the mauufactureres name ie triplex.
