turn signal tailight help needed

I have a 1968 series 1 1/2 coupe. No blown fuses or obvious bad connections - I dont get turnsignals or tailights. Any ideas from past experience? Bad switch maybe? I feel I may be missing the obvious - speaking of which I did check the bulbs.
