Exhaust Manifold Colour

Wondering if anyone knows the original color of the exhaust manifold on a 1965 4.2 Series-I E-Type FHC.

Bob is right about the coating on the exhaust manifolds. The issue is that in many caes it does not last very long depending upon how the owner takes care of them (thermal shock) or the person who applied the coating.

Use the below source. Five years and they still look factory fresh!
