triple su carbs

Does any one know if it posible to fit the triple SU carbs from a mk 10 3.8 into a 4.2 series 2, thanks for your help?

Carbs are ok but not linkage or inlet manifold

I have just bought a set of from a 420, the issue is that for clearcance on the 420 or Mark 10 the carbs have to go up from the intake port while on the xke they are level with the port. So! they willl hit the bonnett It does not work. Plus the 420 does not have the choke.

I also have been looking for a way to fit MK10 triple carb and manifold to my 1970 Etype. Last year I sold a series 3 Etype to a person in Sydney Australia and I told him that I also had a series two with twin carbs and that I had the early triple manifold for a MK 10, was he interested in the manifold. He said to me that he knows of some fellows in his club who have the drawings of a offset spacer that slightly leans the carbs so the first one misses the bonnet. He is in the Sydney club, he races Etypes in Australia.
