I am finally getting around to putting together a 64 XKE Coupe that I purchased 6 years ago. The whole thing came in about 20 boxes. Everything was disassembled (fun puzzle). My issue is this, I found out the bonnet center section is too long for the year. Not sure how you measure these but if you stand the hood up and measure from firewall end to tip of nose the hood is 72 inches long. I have the availability to measure a 62 roadster and it's hood is 70 inches long. Which is what I believe this should be. Does anyone have a clue as to what year/model bonnet center section I have? It's a real shame cause it's in like new condition with a fresh black paintjob. But oh well, maybe I can find someone who wants to trade.
