XKE Type 1 Brake MC

My '66 XKE loses brake fluid out of the rear reservoir. It is not leaking out so I suspect it is being ingested by engine. I guess I have to remove the master cylinder and booster cannister. Is this a large project It looks very difficult. Any advise?

I had the same problem. In my case, the fluid was leaking across the two systems, within the booster. It ended up overflowing from the front reservoir. I've also seen an occasion where the fluid was leaking into the vacuum chamber of the booster. If you ain't got a puddle on the garage floor - booster gets my vote. Good luck!
