1966-1967 gto grill

Hello I recently bought a 67 gto and the front grills are both pretty messed up. I have found 66 gto front grills to replace it. I was wandering if they would fit? Any help is very much appreciated.

I'm not sure if they'll fit... they're completely different after all.

'67 had black surround with chrome metal diamond mesh grills
'66 had grey surround with black plastic square mesh grills

The mounting tabs are likely different.

Yeah I noticed all that. I was just hoping it would all mount up correctly. I'm in the military and currently in Baghdad and I cant really get a good close up look of everything I need to see from the pictures my wife has sent. Thanks for your help!
