I am considering the purchase of a '71 E Type. Unfortunately the car's owner is away working in Alberta (about 2,000 miles from the car), and his wife doesn't know how to open the hood (bonnet). I found the two chrome release handles on the door posts, but couldn't figure out how to release the centre catch.
