<HTML>Go to the thread regarding the use of P/C dual action buffers.

It has a lot of discussion regarding the "slight marring" etc and how it is not always possible to remove every little mar, etc.

Do it right or don't do it all!

<HTML>Another way to look at that question is:

What does the customer want or expect? If you tell him what you told us, he would probably say yes. If the car looks good outside that is all you are expected to do.

Or, is the customer willing to pay you to be "anal retentive" about his car?

Then, what Ron states is a factor too, you can work and work and work and never get the paint perfect.

Go to some of the car shows and look at the paint you will be surprised at how many of these antique, etc type cars have visible marks in them.

The key is to determine exactly what the customer expects. Too many detailers try to be perfectionists when that is not not possible nor is it necessary.

Remember you are in the detailing BUSINESS providing a service to the customer. They important aspect of any business is to give the customer what they expect.
