<HTML>After doing some research and talking with the people who conducted the Comparative Test of Paint Sealants and Waxes I have tried to summarize some of the information obtained.
There is an Xeon Arc test for UV protection that more accurately mimics natural sunlight than the standard QUV Accelerated Weather Tester.
For the record, a glossometer reading takes about 3 to 4 seconds to perform. Over 1,000 separate gloss readings were taken in this test.
For the record, DIAMOND PLUS has passed the following tests conducted by the lab SMI:
Sandwich Corrosion Test ASTM F-1110
Acrylic Crazing Test - ASTM F-484
Paint Softening Test ASTM-502
Hydrogen Embrittlement Test ASTM F--519.77
Total Immersion Test ASTM F-483
If any of you know ASTM you know these are standards that carry a great deal of creditability in the automotive field.
