<HTML>Hey guys. Ive been looking at the different Wet dry vacs and i was thinking to myself how big of a vaccum i would need. I see they have 4 gallon ones with 5 HP. Would that be enough or do i really need to buy the 10-12 gallon ones to be safe?

<HTML>Rob,
Honestly the only reason I can think of to have a larger 8-12 gallon vacuum would be if you only plan on cleaning out your vacuum cleaner once a year. Otherwise there is no real need for a vac that size. I say save the money and get a quality 6 gallon. Even a 6 gal will take a very long time to fill with dry dirt particles.

When you are looking at HP ratings be aware that these figures are often inflated and really mean nothing when it comes to cleaning power. The figure you want to look for is 'inches of lift'. The higher the number the stronger the suction and this is all that really matters when you are vacuuming out a vehicle.</HTML>
