Members-
There is a video about the Hutterites, a collectivist farming sect, that favors big equipment for efficiency. If the equipment on the market isn't big enough to suit them, the Hutterites build their own.
The video made me wonder how we could apply the Hutterites' ways to our detailing. One thing I've found useful is long-handled tools with large working surfaces. These include :
1) Truck brush made of natural horse hair or boar's hair. On dirty cars, you may need to follow this brush up with a long-handled mop for deeper scrubbing.

2) Concrete brush for truck wheel wells.

3) RV bug scrubber with telescoping aluminum handle for windshields.

4) $1 Sponge Mops with polyurethane foam. These are good for applying waxes like Meguiar's #26 in record time. They also save time putting dressing on Jeep and Chevy Avalanche cladding. They are found in dollar stores.

5) Flat dusting mops. Wal-mart has one in micro. Home Depot has a cotton version. These may be good for waxing or washing large flat surfaces ( think RVs and trucks-maybe boats ? ).
If this helps you speed up your work, please post about it.
Doug
