Nasty Neon

Nasty Neon

<HTML>I recently detailed a car for my wife's grandmother. It's a 1996 red Dodge Neon that has been waxed exactly 3 times, by me...the last time was over three years ago.

There were so many spiderweb swirls that the paint was several shades lighter than it was supposed to be. The car was covered with some pretty nasty water spots and other unidentifiable 'stuff.'

After washing the car twice I used my PC on setting 5.

First I used a blend of STRATA 1000 and Meguiars #82 on a cutting pad that I misted with water before beginning each panel. Next up was straight #82 and a polishing pad. Finishing everything off was two coats of MOTHERS carnuaba w/o cleaners on a finishing pad.

Here are the results (hopefully)

<HTML>Very nice job. You really brought it back nicely. Now, did you give her a senior discount?</HTML>

<HTML>She's old, senile and getting cranky/goofy in her old age. The wife told me to "be nice" about how much, I said $40 and she gave me $50</HTML>
