<HTML>Hello I have a question about new paint.
I just finished restoring a 56 chevy truck the last step was paint. It came out perfect. The painter told me no wax or car cover for 6 months. It has 2 base coats and 3 clears(black) ppg. It has been sitting for 3 months now. My question is what are the proper procedures for a new paint job like this. I want to know the best possilbe care, so i can sort through car detailer's in my area to figure out who know what they are doing and whos just guessing. i would hate to have paid for all that block sanding to get the surface looking mirror just for some knckle head to put swirls in it. If anyone can recomend someone in So ca that would help.
