INTERNATIONAL DETAILING ASSOCATION Announces Educational Program at the Car Care World Expo.

The IDA has recently announced the session topics for their detail educational seminars at the Car Care World Expo, May 12-14, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The detailing sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 12th and Thursday, May 13th at 8:30 am – 9:30 am and 10:45 am – 11:45 am on both days.

The sessions are:

Additional Services for More Profit – Discussion of those services a detailer can offer to customers to increase per-car-revenue, including premium detailing services that are easy to perform and easy to add onto the sales ticket; as well as more extensive restorative and appearance repair services that require an investment in training and equipment.
Increasing Sales in a Down Economy – Discussion will cover information and techniques to maximize sales to your existing customers, minimize costs, and attract new customers without spending a ton of money.

New Detailing Technology-An overview of the state of detailing technology, including a brief discussion of the most popular tools currently in use, and an extensive discussion of those technologies that are new or emergent in the industry.

Marketing in the 21st Century – Find out what traditional marketing methods are currently working well for many detail business owners, as well as new options in marketing including the use of website and social media.
Speakers for the sessions have not been selected as yet but will be posted when available as well as exact times for each session which is dependent on the speaker’s availability.

Sessions are geared toward existing detail businesses, carwash operators with detailing operations and anyone considering entering the detail business.
