Question; how much 'back to black' does it take to treat all the molding on an Avalanche? Answere; ALOT!

Bob: There are some other products like Valugard ETR similar but I believe better than black again.. Trim-A-Shield MEDS SNAP that can rejuvenate without repainting clear milky liquid you can sponge on.

What year of Avalance?

Early models trim was loaded with an interal release agent, making it very difficult to get any coating to adhere for any length of time.

Dressings will just evaporate off the surface in a day or two.

The ValuGard ETR will work fine on later production models, but since it is a permanent coating system, does not hold up on the early, first two year, models.

Spent a lot of time in Warren, Mi at GM's Tech Center back then, identifying just what was causing the concern, we traced it down to the vendor's method of forming the parts, including the bed cover.

Just a head's up.
