ValuGards ETR kit

<HTML>My partner Ron and I detailed a really neglected 97 Porsche some days ago and we had the chance to use VG's ETR kit.

It is designed to dye, not "dress" temporary, the trim pieces on cars. In the case of this Porsche the rear bumper lower pieces were plain ugly.

We cleaned the areas with the kits cleaner and then applied two coats of the dye.

Here are the results......I hope the pictures post OK, if not I'll try again.

<HTML>That looks great , huge difference.

Ketch or anyone else that might know , what comes in the kit beside the cleaner ,dye, toner and protectant . I priced out the products and I believe it was cheaper buying the bottles own their own then the kit as a package . Am I missing something ?
TIA

<HTML>The price for the whole kit, depends on if one is a TPD or not, plus we had a Show Special for the kit during ICA.

Website prices are retail, not prices for professionals.

If a PDTA, call and tell the order desk, also a big savings.

<HTML>Ahhh, just a moment, not trying to be a smart-a++, but it is not a "dye", it is a coating.

If you were to be required to explain it, think "base coat/clearcoat", as you apply it similar when one refinishes the painted surfaces.

Clean(New Car Prep), (scuff if necessary), apply basecoat(ColorGard), allow to dry, apply clearcoat (UVGard), allow to dry/cure for 24 hours before exposing to water, cleaners, etc.

Tech Tips- do not appy pressure to the application sponge, allow to dry to touch, you may speed up the dry/cure process with a heat gun or hair dryer, when applying the UVGard, two thin coats are better than one, but an option.

Just wanted to clear up this minor point.
