<HTML>Has anyone ever heard of M.A.R.S. International, aka Miracle Appearance Reconditioning Specialist International, Inc.? They are offering training in sales, service, repairing and detail add on training. It looks to be a franchise, and they are offering you salary and three+ week training in Texas. I was wondering if this is a too good to be true offer, or if it would be something serious to think about.

Thanks for the input!

<HTML>Anne, I ready over all of the materials on their web site. Apperars to me with this bunch, all that glitters Ain't Gold.

I think that you can get the schooling else where, and purchase the materials/tools from a local dealer and save your self many, many dollars.

Email Ketchum, and Abraham, and Joe at Superior Shine, as he attends Bary McGuire's Schools for little or no charge, and gets supplied with quality products, and technical assistance when he needs it.

There is Car Brite in Indianapolis Indiana, who has good products and training as well.

Anne, what I read into their info was, not unlike some of the other Dog-N-Pony shows that are available. Seems like they want the owner operator to spend more time promoting the M.A.R.S name, thus building up the Company Image.

They could be the best folks around to do business with, but I would take the time, to thoroughly explore all avenues, as you well know, or should by now, that you can get some very good advise, from the Pro's on this Forum.

I don't consider to be one, and probably will never be in this business. Just giving you my take on what I read............................... Brandy !</HTML>

<HTML>Thanks for reading the website! I agree with you, all that glitters is not gold. It sounded way too good to be true, and I just needed someone else to confirm it. I'll check into the schools you mentioned too. I think it would be in my best interest to try and get some sort of certificate to post, but more important I want to learn all those extra services for extra cash.

Is it better to get schooling rather than reading and learning on your own?</HTML>
