Hi can anyone tell me how to get sand off of my new car. We went to Va Beach with our new car and the sand is stuck on the car and on the windows, it seems like it is in the gel coat..any help would be appreciated

Maggieone, As Frank said in the previous thread,is' hard to tell what exactly is going on with your car. Ive owned a detailing business in Myrtle Beach, SC
and ive never heard of sand sticking to a cars paint. Also your car dosent have a gel coat. It has a clear coat. And I just can't fathom how sand could stick to it, even when pressure washed. But theres alot of professionals with alot more years than I have If you elaborate a little more someone surely will help.

Wake up Maggie ! I'm betting you blasted the car with water but didn't soap it up and gently agitate the sand. I'd bet a horse hair or boars hair truck brush would minimize scratching and help break the sand loose. Rinse with eash brush stroke and rinse the brush too. Good luck. ( and welcome to the forum too )
