May I ask how many DETAILERS might be using "tie-on" buffing pads?

Thanks

I have never used one, they look like a pain in the butt.

Tie on bonnets or any bonnets for that matter are pre-historic in my opinion and have been replaced by dedicated foam applicator pads (via DA). When I think bonnets, I think about those clumsy orbital polishers that GEM manufacturers. Popular prior to the 90's.

Nope. Haven't used one since I can't remember.... 12 years or so anyway. Didn't like them then either.

Thanks for your replies. The reason for the question is that we happen to have literally "hundreds of both real sheepskin and synthetic sheepskin" tie-on bonnets for a 6" backer plate and wanted to find a home for them at almost FREE prices to anyone interested.

They are really good quality but as you say our customers do not normally use them.

Could they be used as wash mits?

Pro-Techt, you could always shove the sheepskin down your shorts to keep your tackle warm in winter.... Just tie it on..! lol!

buda - wondering if you still have these? They do seem pretty prehistoric - as I am having a hard time find them. However the older gentleman I work for is rather fond of them........so here I am in search of them smiling smiley I realize this is an old post - but it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks

Gina

Gosh, are you trying to "steal my business?" Those are exactly what we have for sale and I can guarantee you and everyone else that I will beat this company's prices by more than 50%.

Those bonnets seem like old technology for you to use or be selling???

I have several folks at my boat clubs who have older orbital buffers who still buy them, and have tried to get them to buy yours.
I will try again, send me an email of prices with shipping for lot's of 6 in all sizes.
Will give it a shot for you.
