Cleaning Seatbelts

What is your perfect method you use to clean seat belts? And are they 100% clean?

Seat belts must not be cleaned with any chemical that weakens them . Check the car owner's manual to see what each manufacturer approves .
In my experience, mild chemicals do not remove all staining from the seat belts, unfortunately .

What chemicals do you suppose weaken seat belt material?

I'm not sure but I have read that solvents like Mineral Spirits will weaken the belts .
