If buffing is required, and most of the time it is. Double check around all crevices & also around the trunk lid rubber seal for any evidence of buffing debris around the channel areas.

Another area of concern is the windshield cowl area too.

Washing the vehicle is a great way to remove any compouning dust remaining.
