Portable lighting?

We have 20 foot ceilings in our shop.....when ever I'm doing a car later at night and the sun doesn't shine, the lighting is crap. What good are light 20 feet above you. Does anyone have an idea what type portable lighting would be good to use? I have seen some at builders square, that have a high intensity bulb, for about 80 bucks...would that do the trick? thanks

You could always mount Flourescent lights on the wall.

We have a six bay wide detail area, putting lights on the wall would only be good for one side of two of the 6 bays. Not efficient. I'd rather be able to move the lights around and focus on the sections I'm working on.....
