I have located a 1963 E-Type Roadster that has been sitting in a storage shed for nearly twenty years. It was in the middle of a then "minor" restoration and has had only a primer coat since then. I have had no real way to examine the condition of the car in detail, but I would imagine over that period of time serious deterioration has occured. Anyone venture to guess how much a car like that would be worth?

<HTML>That is a tough one.

Twenty years is a long time. A lot has probably gone wrong since then, as E-Types do not respond well to long term storage. Major engine, fuel system and brake work is likely required. And that is only the beginning.

Offhand the value outlook is not good. An E-Type can easily run $75,000 for a full restoration, and this car potentially needs everything.

How minor was the restoration attempt? Was it limited to just the primer application? Is the car together or are major portions in boxes?

Where is the car located? Are photos available?

Have you come to some closure on this raodster, or is it still up for grabs?
