I have a Jag E-type 2+2 1967 serie 1 with 2 carbs.
Is this possible or is this not the original engin?

Whether the engine is original or not is a separate question, but the carbs certainly aren't

<HTML>Does your car have open or closed headlights?

Two carbs (I'm assuming you have Zenith-Stromberg) were not original equipment in 1967. They were installed to comply with air polution regulations. They also reduced the power over the three (SU) caruretor cars. Horsepower was reduced from 265 to 246 hp; torque went from 283 to 263 lb.-ft.

You colud have one of the first series 1 1/2 E-Types bound for the USA.
These were fitted with the twin Stromberg carburettors.
The series 1 1/2 's were produced from 1967 to 1968 when further changes were made and the model became known as the series II. If your car is one of the series 1 1/2 models you can tell by the head light position. These cars retained the original bumper bar positinions and styles with the tail lights and direction indicators/side lights located above them BUT with the head lights lifted and moved forwared in the rebates, the cover glasses having been omitted.
