Tell me about buying a 1969 E-Type Convertible

I'm looking very seriously at one of these, and I'm just looking for some expert feedback about this car. It appears to be in good condition both interior and exterior and properly maintained. I like the look (though I love the series 1 look), and short of 100,000 km on the odometer it is below the price I was looking to spend on a Mercedes SL. It's listed as an E-type, but it is a LHD configuration, and lacks the triple SU carbs so I'm assuming that makes it an XKE technically?

I doubt that anyone would consider me an expert on the subject of E-types, but . . .

Not sure what you are referring to, but a 1969 E-Type is an XKE, weather it has two, three or four carbs.

Where do you live?
