anyone in chino hills, ca?

There's a GTO for sale in the paper. Has anyone gone to look at it? I don't think the engine is correct. I'm looking for someone that cn look at the car and confirm the engine #. Willing to pay an inspection fee. I'm in seattle

The vin # is on the paperwork from pontiac and it matches the car. The vin # is242076z111438.We can't read the engine # .........

It's a 66 GTO, CA car, but you guys could tell that from the id#

Has fresh paint, titanium grey, and new interior. Just needs a rebuild and correct M21 tranny (was swapped out to an automatic due to a broken foot). Question is, would the rebuild be on the right motor, or was that swapped out too???? Another question is, I don't see a color match on the avail paint codes for 66, is Platinum a dark grey? Not as big of a deal as correct engine.
