Hey all

Hello im new, i have a question on what size exhaust pipes to run when i get my engine back in my car. i am going to have a 400 with ram air 3 heads, and a full comp cams 276HR setup, with super comp headers with stock mufflers.

i would go three inch if i could find those stock tips in three inch but i cant.
im thinking 2.5inch but i dont know if this will be too small so i could run these tips [s10planet.performancecenter.com]

I have a 70 GTO with a similar set up. I ran 2 1/2 inch pipe with a 2 inch crossover and that seemed to be plenty. If you run 3 inch exhaust you stand to lose alot of low end torque. 2 1/2 is plenty unless you are running some SERIOUS horse power.
