1972 Judge?

I'm in High School and I have a '72 GTO. This other guy told me today that he has a '72 Judge and it even says "GTO Judge" on his title. I read that Pontiac cut the Judge for the 1972 model. Even if it is true and I am sure that is not, it should not say Judge on the title because it was an option. No one I have talked to has said that they have seen this car around town. So I am pretty sure that he is just saying this make is sound like he has a better car than I do. Tell me what you guys think about this guy and his "car". Thanks for your help.

Chris I restored and race GTO's for over 27 years and they did not make a 72 Judge, your friend might have a 72 GTO with the rear spoiler option, as far as paperwork it is probably a computer created. I have a 72 GTO, 70 Judge and a 9 Second 68 GTO and have owned over 25 plus GTO's. You or he can check with PHS for about $35.00 with the vin# and they will send you the original paperwork on the car.
