1966 Pontiac Tri Power with A/C?

Hello,
I'm new to the Pontiac world and am searching for a 1966 Tri Power 4 speed car. I have seen several with A/C and Tri Power. I have been told that this is not possible and that any 66 having A/C would have the 4 barrel set up. Is this true? I'm looking into a 1966 right now that has the Tri Power A/C combo. Can anyone help me?

Sincerely,
Jim

Hello again Jim
Automatic trans, only;with 3:08 rear axle, only.
No manual trans, so not to over-rev the compressor.
Don't recall if 4bbl only? Probably.
You can put Tri-Power on any Pontiac V8 thru 1979. (Doen't mean it's correct, but can be done if you like the looks).

I have a 66 GTO that is a factory tripower factory a/c car - PHS documented. From what I understand, it is pretty rare. It is Montego Cream with black vinyl top and black interior. No rust anywhere on the body. It is an original Arizona car. Must be the reason for A/C!
