I'm buliding a 400 pontiac my heads are 72 cc ans I saw a pair of Eddlebrook aluminum heads at 87 cc. Will I have a problem with the Eddlebrock with to low of compression and not enough power Also should I use headers or ram air 4 exhaust intake with this combo. Its driven maybee 2-3 times a week

The 87cc heads would put your compression around 9.25 or so(can't remember offhand, maybe some else knows for sure) Anyway this would allow you to use pump gas. the 72cc heads would put the compression up to a level you would need race gas(@5.00 a gallon).
I have the edelbrock 87cc heads and if you design the rest of the combo right H.P. is not a problem!
If this is a part time toy go with the headers, any power is good power-right.
