66 gto for $4500

HI,

Im new to this forum.

I have just found a 66 GTO with the 389 4barrel intake and automatic transmissin.

The car is a survivor with just faded paint. The interioir is mint. The body is straight with no damage as well.

It would just need a dissasmbly and repaint. That's of course in order to detail all the parts which have been weathered by the years...

I would like to disassemble it completely though in order to do a frame off resto and then bolt all the parts again together (all is there, i would not need to change nothing save for a drivers arm rest and maybe some emblems).

Does the 4500 price tag sound like a good deal?

IF THE FRAME ,FLOORS,TRUNK FLOOR, ARE ROCK SOLID THEN SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT DEAL. TAKE IT TO A LOCAL GARAGE &PUT IT ON A HOIST &CAREFULLY INSPECT THE UNDERCARRIAGE,RAD SUPPORT, FRONT END PARTS ETC. EVEN HAVE A MECHANIC DO THIS FOR YOU FOR A SECOND OPINION & FOR A SMALL FEE IT COULD SAVE YOU MGA $$ & SOME DONE THE ROAD SURPRISES!!
