Where is the car located?

cast # on the block is - D 9778789
production date code is - C186
as far as the heads go, not sure if they are original or not found a stamp that reads 0092
The block is located in upstate New York in between Albany and Saratoga Springs. It was running when we took it out but had a good knock...it definately needs to be rebuilt and it does not have the original carbirator.

Hi, what is the engine code? It is located on the passenger side of the block in the front just below the head, it should be 2 letters and then some numbers. What is the price? Thanks Steve

I am not sure Steve, The block is not at my residence..I work shift work and am on shift right now. I thought I got all the numbers but I will look again and get back to you, it might take me a couple of days. As far as price goes...not really sure yet. Do you have a 66 that the numbers will match?

Interesting... I have a 1966 with a 455 under the hood from a 1970 Goat. I have the 1966 manifold with tri-power setup. I have often thought about obtaining the "original" style engine. Where are you and what are you asking for the motor?... Lets talk more
