Question for GTO experts? I've owned 3 to 4 GTO"s and am trying to find a 65 GTO at resonable price HA! The question is on the ID Tag on 65 GTO. If the numbers 3737 and 5N appear is this a sure bet that this is a 65 GTO? If so thanks for your help, If not how can you really tell without PHS documentation. Thanks for your replys. Will wait for answers. Craig craigparker@bellsouth.net

You can't tell a real gto for the 64 and 65 models without the phs documentation. It will have the code 38 2 marked on the document.
Before you buy the car, ask for the vin #, and then send it to PHS and they will hurry a quick answer. Go to there sight to see how to go about doing that.

PHS is the way to go. I have faxed them a vin# in the morning and had a fax back by lunch time. $45 well worth it.

I have a 1965 GTO Convertible for sale in Dallas. It ran when I parked it 27 years ago . It has not been wrecked but has been rained in through the top the last year. The VIN# is 237675Z120777. The only thing needed is a correct hood, it has a tempest hood on it (no scoop) the original hood was pilferd.
$5,000.00 You can confirm VIN criteria @

[ultimategto.com]

It has Rally Dash (Factory Tach and Gauges-- Oil, Amp, and Temp not Lights)

Write for more info. I have a buyer interested at this time but I have no title and can only offer Notorized Bill of Sale and he is haggling. $$ Talks I am trying to buy a new Harley

Hello,
I have a gto 65 (237375P) and i put american racing torque thrust 17X8 with 225/55 tires on it, but the left axis of the rear end broke near the bearing and back the drumbrake. Would the positive offset be the cause?
Thanks. JPV.

Erratum,
It's not a positive offset, i check the wheel box and it's an offset -11 mm.
Sorry. jpv.
