Best way to transport a car?

Hello... I need to bring a '65 GTO I have in northern California down to southern California, about 400 miles. It has been stored on blocks for 15 years and isn't running. I plan to look into renting a truck and trailer and driving it myself, do any of you have any other suggestions? Thanks

I always haul on a flat bed trailer. If the car has tires so you can winch it on the trailer ramps. thats a long way to drive it beings it has been sitting so long. I suggest trailering it. You may need to work some cob webs out before you put it on the road. Enjoy your classic!
