2006 GTO Exhaust System Question

We are new to the 2006 GTO and would like to know the best way to get more horse power through a cold air intake and exhaust system. Don't want to spend a lot on name brand equipment if can get by with off brand just as good. Willing to spend for name brand equipment if it is best route. Just need some guidance and suggestions.

In my opinion, DON"T do the exhaust..you'll be sorry.K and N makes a great air intake system which you can buy at several different places
