Has a summit distributor and MSD coil. Turn engine over and fires, but as soon as release starter it is like car turned off.
This happened 2 months ago. Tried coil, blast resistor , no avail. Car sat for 2weeks Suddenly it started. Happened again.
Bought ignition key and key switch, same
Checked grounds and wiring. Checked coil with ohmmeter, same as other one I have
Any advise is greatly appreciated. What voltage should be at coil, assumed 12 volts in on position.
