Presently in Saudi Arabia training a staff at a new DETAIL PLUS Centre. Here the detail operations take the seats and carpets out of every car in order to "properly" clean them. What about you, do you think this is necessary, why or why not. Do you do it, would you do it? Under what conditions. Of course, you charge the customer for this "extra" service charge.by buda - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
This is just too good a deal not to present to detailers. An electric dual action buffer/polisher that can accept either a Velcro backer plate for 9" buffing pads or the chrome attachement that will accept the 6" dual sided buffing pads. The cost is only $99.95 with a 90 day guarantee. You can purchase a 1 year unconditional replacement for only $10 more. This is a top qualityby buda - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
If you do not keep your detail shop or mobile rig clean and organized, how will your customers and prospective customers view you, and your promises to clean their vehicle to a like new, spotless condition? Larry Isn't $90 kind of low for a full detail on a passenger car? We charged $85 for that kind of work in 1985. The range for a car today should be at least $125 and more for an SUV. Where you located? Regards Bud Abrahamby buda - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

Great News for those of you interest in the TOWELS and WIPES as an alternative to the clay bar. You are absolutely correct, those three states have stricter regulations reqarding water than the Federal Clean Water Act requires. PT: The concept of exterior steam cleaning has been around for, going on 20 years, in the USA. It was introduced by the Koreans. It has never gone over very well, because it does not save time, requires a large investment and, as you say, only reduces the need for water and puts you in compliance with the Clean Water Act. Personally I have found that waterless wash does as good a job.by buda - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

There have been a couple of new products introduced to the industry to replace the clay bar, in recent months, and it seems the jury is out amoung detailers as to which one is the best.
