Turbo: I have found that spray tire dressing works well in keeping the wells apperance up as long as road conditions premit. It elimitates the greying that appears in most wheel whells and can be an eyesore after doing a complete detail of any unit but particularily on trucks where the wheel wells tend to be highly visible. I am not however convinced that it does anything to keep them any cby S10 Guy - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

Hi everyone. This is not an endorsment or recommendation. This is a further question and observation on paint chip / scratch repair products. Some time ago while researching paint repair options the site was suggested to me. This product is suposed to provide workablility to the scratch repair paint leaving it " levelable" after the repair. Has anyone tried it or had any expeby S10 Guy - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

Many of these bottles also have graduations on the side for easy mixing of most concentrated chemicals. They also normally have adjustable tips on them for customizing your spray from a mist to a stream. Steve: Try a simple test. Get you hand dirty and then just wash with water. I suspect you will immediatly find out the benifits of using soap. As Kleanworks and Don state the use of soap are a must on dirt and grime. The soap will emulsify the grime and allow you to remove it much more effectively making it much easier for you to accomplish your objective. If you are in a colder climate you will need to get the unit indoors for this proceedure. Hopefully you have removed the major amount of paint by blotting as soon after it happened. A spotting guide for removal of latex paint is: 1. apply a detergent solution consisting of 1 teaspoon colorless mild detergent into on cup of water. Work this in gently and blot off. 2. Turboman I suggest that the KISS principle to begin with will apply quite well here. Keep it simple and determin what your expectations are and then find out what works for you in terms of products and the time you can afford to spend to do the work. Also remember that no matter what speed you operate your machine at .....the larger the diameter of the pad the faster the pad edge speed gets. Paul I should have provided you better details on my request for sorting. If it is possible my thoughts on the structure is that I would like to be able to sort all messages and replies all by date. I have found that the basis for review of almost all lighting concerns is best dealt with by determining these characteristics: 1. what are the adequate levels of light needed to complete tasks 2. how do you position the lighting to reduce glare - both reflected and directed to the eye 3. aestetic appeal of the space 4. life cycle cost effectivity of the lby S10 guy - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
