Stephen: >> Will it be easy to attach images with our postings? No. Attaching images is a security problem and judging by what has happened in this message board in the past it is unlikely to be implemented. It is possible to post a URL of a photo in a posting which the Phorum users can click on it to view. An example, in this case a 2007 Corvette, is below. <HTML>Thanks Jack for your kind comments. The project was a huge effort, almost three years with most of the effort over the last two; I would say about 25 hours a week with the main limit being the day job I still have. There are over 2000 images, although that counts the fact that most photos, etc. are clickable for a larger resolution. Since you've owned 12 'vettes and Iby <b>Webmaster</b> - Pontiac GTO Forum

<HTML>Here is how I differentiate a coupe and a hardtop: To define a hardtop, think of a convertible with a "removeable" hardtop. As J. C. said, a hardtop does not have a frame around the door window and neither does a convertible with a hardtop. Hardtops also tend to look like convertibles with removeable hardtops attached. <HTML>Tim: Here is what I know about the T37, based on what a knowlegable Pontiac GTO friend told me. The T-37 and GT-37 were performance Le Mans versions, I believe available in '70 and maybe '71. I've heard of a '72. The T-37 is rare but the GT-37 is really a rare car. It was suppose to be a step between the Le Mans and GTO. <HTML>According to : Although the Pontiac GTO's existence was borne of original thinking, its name was not. It is not a secret that it was "borrowed" from Ferrari, which had a short production run (40) of sports racing cars of the same name starting in 1962. GTO in that case stood for "Gran Turismo Omologato" the english translation of which is "Grand Touringby <b>Webmaster</b> - Pontiac GTO Forum

<HTML>>> The only distinguishing think about it was the shifter; short, stubby, fitting perfectly in my hand. That's not much of a clue. All the E-Type shifters I've seen are not short and stubby. It sounds like the owner purposely cut down the shifter. Regards, Paul Pollock WebCars! Webmaster <a href=";by <b>Webmaster</b> - Jaguar E-Type Forum
<HTML>As a general rule, the later years are more reliable. Considering the fact that any E-Type you buy is more than 30 years old, reliability, even under the best circumstances, will not be comparable to a present day car. I mention this because reliabilty seems important to you. >> keeping in mind I will be doing none of it myself Who will be doing the work? <HTML>I would be very careful if I was in a "borrowed" E-Type and it was raining. The biggest question: What are the tires like? Hopefully they have a lot of tread on them, which really helps with wet conditions. The other question: are the tires a modern make / model, or is the car fitted with authentic rubber? The authentic rubber is likely to be less forgiving than what is aby <b>Webmaster</b> - Jaguar E-Type Forum
<HTML>A lot depends on how much work is needed. It would be very easy for a 1970 2+2 to be in such bad shape that it would not be considered a candidate for restoration. Be very careful and look it over thoroughly. Keep in mind that everything on an E-Type is much more expensive and complicated than what you are used to with the Sunbeams. <HTML>Does your car have open or closed headlights? Two carbs (I'm assuming you have Zenith-Stromberg) were not original equipment in 1967. They were installed to comply with air polution regulations. They also reduced the power over the three (SU) caruretor cars.
