My 1968 series 1.5 has developed a major misfire above 3000 rpm like there is fuel starvation and also a lumpy idle, or could it be ignition? Any ideas would be welcomed.by Richard Brown - Jaguar E-Type Forum
I have a '68 series 1 1/2 coupe with Stromberg carbs, after leaving it sit for 2 weeks, when I started it the fuel pump kept running pumping gas into and flooding the carbs and air filter etc. Firstly what signals the fuel pump to stop running, the floats?? If so is there a way to tell if the float is sticking before I tear them a part?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. regards Ricby Richard Brown - Jaguar E-Type Forum

I'm sure it was a fake British license plate, back then the UK market cars came with a stick on front license plate, mounted just above the grille opening.by Richard Brown - Jaguar E-Type Forum

Does anyone know where to get 185x15 white wall tires for a 68 E-Type?by Richard Brown - Jaguar E-Type Forum
This car is 4sale @ $18K, I betting $16.5/ $17K would get it. One of the problems I have is, look at a $25K car and theres a world of difference, an no way could you bring the $18K upto the level of the $25K car for $7K, more like $10K+. I think this car IS worth $17K plus its a desirable color at least to me, Primrose with black. The question then becomes do you spend the extra or not to get a $by Richard Brown - Jaguar E-Type Forum
