Michael DEFINITELY restore it, it will be well worth it for you. For one the money you could get for it as the years go on (retail on a restored 70 right now is around 18k 19k) Secondly for the pride and pleasure of having a good running great looking one of a kind muscle car. I myself have a 70 gto that I'm just finishing restoring just need some fenders and paint. Parts are pretty easilyby Nick Rogers - Pontiac GTO Forum
Nathan, alright from what it sounds like your car is not a gto, For one 1970 gto's didn't have emblems they just had decals, Secondly the GTO in 1970 wasnt an option of the Lemans anymore it was it's own model now I think they quit the options in 66 and didnt start up again until 71 or 72. I'm pretty sure that 1970 didn't have console shifters but I'm not totally surby Nick Rogers - Pontiac GTO Forum
