You have the wrong forum. I think you intended to post to the Pontiac GTO Forum, which is at [web-cars.com]

Hi guys, I'm converting from bench to buckets on my 68 GTO. I have an original his hers dual gate shifter and need info on the right cable. The one on the shifter would stop short of park (at trans) when the shifter indicated park, and bottom out in first although the trans was only in 2nd. It is 19.5". I see 67-68 his her cables saying 30 1/4" is correct Also some say 31 1/2" and 31 3/4" . Also, OMG, I got a TH400 transmission bracket from a 68 Chevelle that fit well, but can it be the wrong one for my application? Sorry, but would appreciate any info or advice. Thanks
