I usually paid my guys as independant contractors, and they signed a non-compete agreement, the other thing I did for my business was had a pre-inspection worksheet that stated any pre-existing conditions and a waiver of liability form for the engine that the customer would signed before work was started, this helped alot with issues that had arose. I have been doing this for 17 years. On another topic, have any of you used the cyclone machine?.. it has dual heads rotating in opposite direction..
