In the world of detailing we often see experts anointing themselves as greatest, the best or simp #1. If you are good you don't have to brag, others will do it for you. With that in mind here are some personal rules to live by as a detail business owner: 1. If mobile, show up 10 minutes early. If a fixed location be there 30 minutes before opening. 2. Customers are not always right, but you must treat them as they are. 3. Always dress like a business owner, not a worker even if you do the work. 4. Never give unsolicited advise 5. Never bring your ego to work. 6. Don't waste people's time. 7. Don't brag about your accomplishments to people who didn't ask you about them. 8. Always be humble 9. Spend 80% of your time in your comfort zone and 20% outside it. You will be both productive and also challenged. 10. Focus on past customers they are mist likely to purchase again. 11.
