wood grain interior trim

What are the best product(s) and method(s) to use on the wood grain pieces found in the interiors of many high end cars? I have a client with a 2 year old Mercedes S500. The interior wood pieces appear to have a dull gray film on them. I don't want to use any abrasive products to prevent scratching.

Here I go with the #7 again, but I have used it on many things including the clear plastic over the gauges. Give it a try.
