what is claying

Hi all. Yes I am a newbie. Sort of. I really don't have a business....yet, but am thinking about it. I have heard of claying and know that it has something to do with smoothing the paint, but I do not know exactly what it is. Can someone please explain?

Clay bars are used in conjunction with lubricant to shave off surface contaminants
without affecting the paint. For more info, visit www.griotsgarage.com , www.meguiars.com , www.adamspolishes.com & find the threads we have dealing with DVDs available.
Visit www.automagic.com or www.zainostore.com as well as the above to order quality clay and lubricant.
Claying can remove contaminants that would cause swirls if they were removed by machine polishing. Claying should be done after washing. Clay is good for removing brake dust from wheels.
