Ok I am wondering what type of program you use for your detail business for printing out the customers recpits

You can do one of two things:

a. Get a cash register that prints receipts or
b. Print a 3 Part NCR Sales & Service Invoice that has a Job Service Order

quickbooks. does everything I need and more.
