Scotch Guarding...

Remember that if you intend on applying any scotch guarding, that there is two different types of solutions on the market.

One type of solution is used only for carpets & the other scotch guarding solution is for Upholstery fabric.

If you apply one on the other material you will not get the same protection as for it's intended use. The solution is much different & can cause a different reaction to each different fiber content & fabric grade. Just a word of caution.
What about leather scotch gaurd?

I use this everyonce in awhile on my car. Seems to help get some wrinkles out. My pontiacs seats look like crap, but if I soak the seats with leather cleaner and scotch guard them, sometimes they look half way ok.

There is the red label one for upholstery and the blue label for carpets. I have heard that they have stopped manufacturing these products, I am doubtful that this has taken place. Have you guys heard anything of the kind?

Raggtop is the best fabric convertable top protectant Ive found. Everyone should get a bottle and up sell a protection package. I start mine at $65, not bad for 20 minutes.

i remember something about the E.P.A and a chemical crack down. if the new formula is on the market, it should be reformulated. unless, it is old stock.
