Flywheel question
January 19, 2005 03:17AM
Guys, have a pristine, low mile 66 hardtop. Put a different solenoid and a heat shield on the starter. Put the starter back in and had a helluva time shimming the starter. Then noticed the flywheel has a slight wobble in it. So obviously this is why I have the shim problems. Now this car runs perfectly, so it's not a crankshaft issue. Anyone have any suggestions as to why this flywheel doesn't run true, and how to fix this problem?? Thanks.
Jeff

Did you remove the flywheel to check it?
